The Formula that Changed the World

Formula

This is a record of my experience after studying the lessons and participating in the exercise contained in module 1 of the 10 part Silva Life System course.  I’m not going to get into the lesson details and I’m not going to get into the science, or lack thereof, behind the Silva Life System.  I’m only going to share the results of the mental exercise.  This is my own experience.  You, of course, will only be convinced by your own experience.

Lesson 1 - Accelerating the Process of Manifesting Your Dreams (Duration 6:48)

Lesson 2 - Goal Setting and Manifestation; History of the Silva Method (Duration 14:22)

Lesson 3 - Managing Stress Effectively (Duration 12:17)

Lesson 4 - Thoughts Precede Physical Manifestation (Duration 8:13)

Lesson 5 - Creating Resourceful Beliefs (Duration 3:47)

Lesson 6 - Use More Brain and Mind (Duration 12:58)

Lesson 7 - Short Mental Exercise (Duration 10:28)

As a result of the mental exercise contained in this module, I have been able to fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer.  If I do happen to wake up in the middle of the night I can get back to sleep almost immediately. This has brought much joy into my life and my wife is a lot happier as well since I no longer disturb her sleep by constantly tossing and turning.  The short mental exercise is perfect for those times when the longer meditation (in module 2) is not practical.  It’s like taking a one hour power nap in less than 10 minutes. I’ve been doing this everyday right after lunch and it keeps me going for the rest of the day.

What Does it Feel Like to be at Level?

Johnnie_oh_at_level
Level - a state of relaxed concentration on the reality of the present moment.

What does it feel like when you're at level? How do you know when you're at level? I see these questions all the time. I was lucky enough to read the full Silva Mind Control review by David Boldt before I participated in any of the Silva Life System mental exercises. So I wasn't really looking for any miracles nor was I looking for any proof that I was at level one. My main goal was to be in a relaxed state of mind and body, to be as still as possible for anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes, and to concentrate on positive thoughts and the object of my desire. After all, according to the Master Key System by Charles Haanel, that is all that is required to get in touch with the true source of power. Here's an excerpt from David Boldt's review that describes what he felt at level: The “calm state of relaxation”--also known as “Level 1” from the 3-2-1 countdown procedure used to get there--was just sort of an eyes-closed, daydreaming state, made more relaxing and pleasurable and allegedly alphawave producing (“deepened”) by visualization of idyllic scenes and other exercises. ~ excerpt from an article by David R Boldt, Washington Post Staff Writer This is pretty much how I felt so I'm not going to worry over what it feels like to be at level. When you think about it, worrying about what it feels like when you're at level defeats the whole purpose of meditating.
