No_maybe_yes
One of my biggest customers said "no thanks," the first time I introduced him to SendOutCards. "How would you like to make extra money without selling anything?" I asked.  "No thanks!" he replied.  I ran into him the very next day and thanked him for being upfront.  In other words I thanked him for saying no. He looked a little surprised.  Was he expecting that his decision would have an impact on our friendship? I ran into him again and he asked me to explain exactly what it was that I was doing.  I was about to start "babbling" about the business when I remembered what I learned during my first week of Fast Track to Eagle training; "don't try to explain SendOutCards...let the tools do the talking".  I couldn't show him the DVD so I whipped out a greeting card with a picture of my grandson Brayden on it.  "This is what I do," I said.  "I create and send greeting cards online. It cost about a buck to send that card."  He held the card and looked it over.  Within a minute he "got it".  Within 5 minutes he had a business plan in mind.  I let him do the talking. "Does it have a contact manager," he asked. "Yes!" I replied.  "How much do the cards cost?...Can I create cards with my own designs?...Can I order in bulk?"  I was able to answer his questions easily.  An hour and twenty questions later we were shaking hands and contemplating our bright futures.

One of the top leaders said that once someone "gets it" they're not listening to you anymore.  So SHUT UP! Just show the business, let the tools do what they were designed to do, and if they "get it" great and if they don't, it's no big deal.  Just focus on the activity of sharing this wonderful opportunity and move on.

Shopping

I ran a contest recently. The prize was a $25 American Express gift card. Someone won. She sent me her address so I could send her prize. I thought I could purchase the gift card using points from my SendOutCards account. Turns out a gift card purchase can only be made from my expense account. I informed the winner of my mistake and asked if she'd accept an audio book or a hard or soft cover book of her choice instead.  "Sure," she said. Her book of choice was one of my favorite business books of all time; Go For No! by Richard Fenton and Andrea Waltz.  "Sure," I said.  I logged into my SendOutCards account and sent her the $12 book and a $1 congratulation card.

The reason I'm writing this is to share the brilliant logic behind her decision to accept the $12 book over the $25 gift card. Here's what she said:

"It'll get me more than that $25 will anytime!"

I almost cried when she said that. First, I was impressed by her foresight. Second, I knew that it was possible because I'd done it myself. Third, (and this is the sad part) if I gave all my contest winners the choice between the $25 gift card and the book, I'm fairly certain that 9 out of 10 people would choose the gift card.

Thanks_for_the_refferral

  • Do you need to generate more referrals
  • Do you need to stay in front of your leads and customers more frequently?
  • Do you have a message you need to communicate with your database?
  • Do you have a lead list to follow up with?
  • Do you want to generate more revenue for your company?

If you answered yes to any of the questions above, you need to know about SendOutCards.  It's an on-line greeting card service that prints and mails greeting cards designed by YOU online.

I love using it to stay in touch with those I care about. SendOutCards can be used for businesses who want to stay in touch with prospects, clients, and referral partners, as well as for individuals who want to do a better job staying in touch with friends, family and others they care about by sending birthday, holiday cards, and "just because" cards.  I love it because it is quick and easy to use, and it's really affordable.  Most cards cost me about a dollar to send.

SendOutCards may be the solution you've been praying for.
