Healing Yourself From Within

Disbelief
This is a record of my experience after studying the lessons and participating in the exercise contained in module 4 of the 10 part Silva Life System course.  I’m not going to get into the lesson details.  I’m not going to get into the science, or lack thereof, behind the Silva Life System.  I’m only going to share the results of the mental exercise.  This is my own experience.  You, of course, will only be convinced by your own experience.

  • Lesson 1 - No More Headaches (Duration 11:56)
  • Lesson 2 - Eliminating Pain – Glove Anesthesia (Duration 14:13)
  • Lesson 3 - Using Water for Special Problem Solving and Healing (Duration 13:39)
  • Lesson 4 - Mental Exercise (Duration 25:49)

This lesson contains information you may find hard to swallow.

At the beginning of the Silva mind expanding training, Laura Silva says that some of the tools, techniques and concepts described in the course may be difficult for some people to accept.  You will buy into much of the information and other information will be harder to swallow.  She asks that you set that information aside (put it on a mental shelf) where it will be available when you understand it better or have use for it. DON'T SKIP this lesson or dismiss it outright.  It's a good thing to keep an open mind, take what you can use and set aside what you can't use.

I'm putting this information on my mental shelf until I understand it better and when I have a use for it.

No, Maybe, Yes!

One of my biggest customers said "no thanks," the first time I introduced him to SendOutCards. "How would you like to make extra money without selling anything?" I asked.  "No thanks!" he replied.  I ran into him the very next day and thanked him for being upfront.  In other words I thanked him for saying no. He looked a little surprised.  Was he expecting that his decision would have an impact on our friendship? I ran into him again and he asked me to explain exactly what it was that I was doing.  I was about to start "babbling" about the business when I remembered what I learned during my first week of Fast Track to Eagle training; "don't try to explain SendOutCards...let the tools do the talking".  I couldn't show him the DVD so I whipped out a greeting card with a picture of my grandson Brayden on it.  "This is what I do," I said.  "I create and send greeting cards online. It cost about a buck to send that card."  He held the card and looked it over.  Within a minute he "got it".  Within 5 minutes he had a business plan in mind.  I let him do the talking. "Does it have a contact manager," he asked. "Yes!" I replied.  "How much do the cards cost?...Can I create cards with my own designs?...Can I order in bulk?"  I was able to answer his questions easily.  An hour and twenty questions later we were shaking hands and contemplating our bright futures.

One of the top leaders said that once someone "gets it" they're not listening to you anymore.  So SHUT UP! Just show the business, let the tools do what they were designed to do, and if they "get it" great and if they don't, it's no big deal.  Just focus on the activity of sharing this wonderful opportunity and move on.

The Power of Your Mind

This is a record of my experience after studying the lessons and participating in the exercise contained in module 3 of the 10 part Silva Life System course.  I’m not going to get into the lesson details.  I’m not going to get into the science, or lack thereof, behind the Silva Life System.  I’m only going to share the results of the mental exercise.  This is my own experience.  You, of course, will only be convinced by your own experience.

Lesson 1 - Sleep Management (Duration 13:17)

Lesson 2 - The Best Tool for Successful Meditations (Duration 07:28)

Lesson 3 - The Five Step Method for Problem Solving (Duration 06:24)

Lesson 4 - Solving Problems Through Dreams (Duration 14:43)

Lesson 5 - Mental Exercise (Duration 25:01)

Thank You Silva Life!  As a result of the "sleep control technique" I have been able to fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer.  It is so weird (in a good way); I know I'm about to fall asleep because I lose track of my number count and then I try to pick up where I left off but I lose track again and next thing you know I'm counting Z's.  It reminds me of the time I was anesthetized before knee surgery.  You feel yourself losing conscious awareness fairly quickly, but with no dangerous drugs!  And when I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom (or whatever), when I get back in bed, I start the sleep control technique and I'm fast asleep again.  Before the Silva method I'd lay awake for hours wondering if I'd get enough sleep before the alarm went off.  Speaking of alarms, tonight I try the clock technique.

The Answer to the Secret

This is a record of my experience after studying the lessons and participating in the exercise contained in module 2 of the 10 part Silva Life System course I ordered.  I’m not going to get into the lesson details.  I’m not going to get into the science, or lack thereof, behind the Silva Life System.  I’m only going to share the results of the mental exercise.  This is my own experience.  You, of course, will only be convinced by your own experience.

Lesson 1 - Meditation and Your Invisible Nature (Duration 09:12)

Lesson 2 - Age Old Truths in Modern Day Wrapping (Duration 10:35)

Lesson 3 - Successful Meditations (Duration 14:49)

Lesson 4 - The Long Relaxation Exercise (Duration 33:31)

As a result of the mental exercise contained in this module, I have been able to relax my mind and body for extended periods of time.  This is something that I was "unable" to do on my own.  I was reading the Master Key System by Charles Haanel and I was having difficulty completing the mind-body-thought control exercises at the end of each chapter.  I tried to remain still with my eyes closed and it lasted only 5 minutes. I tried the next day and I remained still with my eyes closed for 6 minutes. I figured I'd increase my stillness by 1 minute each day and then I discovered the Silva method and the first time I tried the free 30 minute long  relaxation exercise I remained still with my eyes closed the entire time.  The Silva method has enabled me to execute the Master Key System exercises with ease.  As a result, I'm beginning to experience positive results.

How to Remember Sentences, Quotes, Lyrics, Affirmations and More

Chicken

A quick, easy, and effective way to memorize anything is to associate the thing you want to remember to mental pictures.  The stronger the mental picture, the easier it will be to remember.  I use this technique to commit my affirmations to memory.

Exanple 1:  I am whole, perfect, powerful, strong, loving, harmonious and happy!

Mother brought home a whole chicken from the market. It was perfect! The aroma as it cooked was powerful.  "This will make you strong," my loving mother said as she prepared our plates.  We went to bed that night a harmonious and happy family!

Example 2:  I am warm, gracious, passionate, cheerful, loving, harmonious and happy!

It was a warm Spring day and the gracious Belle was filled with passion as Scarlet nibbled at her neck.  A few cheerful children were peeking through cracks in the rustic wall.  They scattered at the approach of their loving mother leaving everyone harmonious and happy!

Example 3:  I am courageous, confident, self-relient, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy!

Two stiff cocktails and Johhnie Oh was feeling courageous.  His confidence level was at an all time high.  So what if she was self-reliant, powerful senator.  All she needed  was some good loving and they'd be living harmoniously and happily ever after.

It is amazing how well this works.  Give it a try.

The Formula that Changed the World

Lesson 1 - Accelerating the Process of Manifesting Your Dreams (Duration 6:48)

Lesson 2 - Goal Setting and Manifestation; History of the Silva Method (Duration 14:22)

Lesson 3 - Managing Stress Effectively (Duration 12:17)

Lesson 4 - Thoughts Precede Physical Manifestation (Duration 8:13)

Lesson 5 - Creating Resourceful Beliefs (Duration 3:47)

Lesson 6 - Use More Brain and Mind (Duration 12:58)

Lesson 7 - Short Mental Exercise (Duration 10:28)

As a result of the mental exercise contained in this module, I have been able to fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer.  If I do happen to wake up in the middle of the night I can get back to sleep almost immediately. This has brought much joy into my life and my wife is a lot happier as well since I no longer disturb her sleep by constantly tossing and turning.  The short mental exercise is perfect for those times when the longer meditation (in module 2) is not practical.  It’s like taking a one hour power nap in less than 10 minutes. I’ve been doing this everyday right after lunch and it keeps me going for the rest of the day.

What Does it Feel Like to be at Level?

Johnnie_oh_at_level
Level - a state of relaxed concentration on the reality of the present moment.

What does it feel like when you're at level? How do you know when you're at level? I see these questions all the time. I was lucky enough to read the full Silva Mind Control review by David Boldt before I participated in any of the Silva Life System mental exercises. So I wasn't really looking for any miracles nor was I looking for any proof that I was at level one. My main goal was to be in a relaxed state of mind and body, to be as still as possible for anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes, and to concentrate on positive thoughts and the object of my desire. After all, according to the Master Key System by Charles Haanel, that is all that is required to get in touch with the true source of power. Here's an excerpt from David Boldt's review that describes what he felt at level: The “calm state of relaxation”--also known as “Level 1” from the 3-2-1 countdown procedure used to get there--was just sort of an eyes-closed, daydreaming state, made more relaxing and pleasurable and allegedly alphawave producing (“deepened”) by visualization of idyllic scenes and other exercises. ~ excerpt from an article by David R Boldt, Washington Post Staff Writer This is pretty much how I felt so I'm not going to worry over what it feels like to be at level. When you think about it, worrying about what it feels like when you're at level defeats the whole purpose of meditating.

Teacher Goes Beserk On "Lazy, Stupid, and Stubborn" Students

Bald_plume_screaming
In the middle of the FREE memory improvement course I’m taking, Power Memory, the instructor (who goes by the name IQGuru--and NO, that is not a drawing of him [or her]) goes on a tirade. Check it out:

“Welcome Back!  If you have now done as requested, you are ready to proceed and maybe even ready to experience something miraculous!  But, if you have NOT yet done as requested, then you are too stubborn (or too stupid) to actually learn anything new, so please just stop here and go do something else.  If you think you already know everything, and can thus  merely ignore the simple requests made of you in this course, then you do NOT belong in this course because you are, instead, merely too stubborn for your own good.  If you cannot do what is asked of you here and in the order asked then you are unlikely to learn anything.  So, let this be the last warning:  Either commit to playing by the rules for the remainder of this course, or please just go away now!  Meanwhile, for the rest of you, those who are serious about this course and therefore have already re-familiarized yourself with your bedroom wastebasket please let us proceed.”

The instructor is actually pretty cool.  And the Power Memory course is very good!  It appears a little challenging at first but it is a lot easier than it appears.  I strongly recommend this course to anyone who has kids as it will help them do better in school. I also recommend it to anyone and everyone who would like to improve their memory.

Here’s the link to the FREE 5 lesson memory enhancement program: Power Memory .

If you don’t have time study all 5 lessons, you should at least read lesson number 3.  It’s fun and it will help improve your memory instantly. And, if nothing else, it will explain the hilarious bedroom wastebasket reference.

Your subconscious mind is a lazy, no good, ne'er do well

Wake_me_when_your_serious
Your subconscious mind is a lazy, no good, ne'er do well who'd rather sleep all day rather than awaken to the task of helping you reach your loftiest aspirations.

You can kick and scream, prod and plead all day long and yes, your subconscious mind will hear you, but if you've ever quit at anything before, your subconscious mind will ignore your demands because she sees YOU as the lazy no good ne'er do well.

Your subconscious mind knows that you're not serious about reaching your goal.  As far as she's concerned you're just wasting your time and hers.

But if you persist long enough, and take appropriate action, that lazy, no good, ne'er do well subconscious mind of yours will start to take notice and will eventually spring into action to ensure that everything that you desire, all that you demand, will be manifested.

And you will come to know that your subconscious mind is no lazy, no good, ne'er do well, she is in fact perfect...and so are you.

The Master Key Exercises

I just completed reading and listening to the Master Key System by Charles Haanel.  Every chapter (there are 24 total) concludes with an exercise designed to help you apply what you just learned.  Of the 24 exercises I tried maybe 12 and of those 12 I did not really practice them everyday for a week.  I've spoken to a few people who have also read the Master Key System and had a similar experience.  How can we know if this system is effective if we don't follow the simple instructions?  So I'm going to post each exercise here and commit to actually performing each exercise everyday for a week and then return to summarize my experience.

July 5th, 2011, Week 1  Select a room where you can be alone and undisturbed; sit erect, comfortably, but do not lounge; let your thoughts roam where they will but be perfectly still for from fifteen minutes to half an hour; continue this for three or four days or for a week until you secure full control of your physical being.  Many will find this extremely difficult; others will conquer with ease, but it is absolutely essential to secure complete control of the body before you are ready to progress. Next week you will receive instructions for the next step; in the meantime you must have mastered this one.

I'll be back in a week to tell you what I think...
